This beautiful log cottage sits on Fortune River and is moments from a beautiful beach. The property is in immaculate condition and finished with all modern conveniences. This is an amazing place to get away from it all, relax on the deck and be at peace. World class dining, golf, deep sea fishing and beaches are all within a short drive.
There are 3 bedrooms: the master bedroom is very spacious with a huge king size bed, ensuite bathroom, sitting area and walkout patio doors to the large deck overlooking the river. The other 2 bedrooms both have 2 single beds. Perfect for families with a second full bathroom off the main living area. You'll love watching the river from the deck and bbq'ing in the evening. You will also enjoy cooking and entertaining in the open concept kitchen/living room/dining room with propane fireplace.
Washer and dryer are on-site, as well as a propane BBQ. All towels and linens are included. Our cottage is completely ready for your family, you'll just need to pick up your groceries.
A kayak is available for exploring the river - sunset paddles are an incredible way the end a glorious day in PEI.

Summary: We had a wonderful time in PEI staying at the cottage. It was a beautiful space and we loved watching the birds in the bay and exploring the nearby beach at low tide. We had absolutely no issues but knew that Dave would be happy to help if we did. Would definitely return!

Summary: Beautiful well kept cottage about 10mins. From Souris and 20mins from national park. Local Beach with in walking distance. Used the kakaks in the local bay right in front of cottage.

Summary: Our stay in the property was great. The house was exactly as described. Very well equipped. Brent’s father Dave was very helpful and even got us lobsters for our final dinner. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

Summary: Our second time there! We love the property. We have three kids (4 year old, 2 year old and 9 month old) and it is so kid friendly! The nearby beach access is wonderful and plenty of room for the little ones to play. The property manager is friendly and helpful. We will be back!

Summary: This property was immaculate. Very spacious, modern kitchen , fully equipped with every utensil if you are inclined to cook. One of our days was rainly and cool , the propane fireplace was cozy. I bòoked for a wedding that was close by. My husband, and my adult children . They absolutely loved it, and want to book themselves to stay for next summer. This place is truly a gem.

Summary: This peaceful spot on the river has walkable access to the ocean and is and easy access to everything east of Charlottetown. The cottage is beautiful and the hosts warm and attentive. Despite several days of rain our trip was delightful -- whether adventuring for hikes or reading novels by the stove.

Summary: In addition to all the other wonderful comments I was so surprised and pleased with level of provisioning. I love to cook especially when there is so much wonderful seafood to buy from the wharf. Absolutely everything I could have wanted was there. I would mention if you don’t plan to cook that local restaurants close much earlier than I am used to. We just planned accordingly. Thanks for you hospitality.

Summary: Stayed for 1 week in early June. Absolutely loved the cottage. It had everything you could need so was very comfortable. Dave was there to greet us, check us in, and even offered to cook us a pair of lobsters! He even had suggestions for what local spots to check out and his advice did not disappoint. Great place, would recommend, and will stay again.
